Nancy made this gorgeous quilt featuring many owl designs as a raffle item for the Whitefish Point Bird Observatory in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. She calls the theme "Owls of North America," and was struggling to find enough beautiful owl designs without settling for ones she didn't love, when she discovered the many owls at Embroidery Library. She gave out a "Whooo hooo!" and set about actually taking apart some of the quilt top to switch out a few of the designs.
