Jan writes of this lovely quilt... "I love to paint on fabric and knew when I saw your Blooming Art Nouveau flowers last week that they would adapt well to this process. I took the outside border off as I made all of the blocks and it was a little too busy. I painted each flower first with acrylic paints and then made them into a quilt. Everything went together well. I have a Happy 12 needle for embroidery and an 800 Bernina which I use for sewing and quilting." The painted flowers are simply gorgeous! What a creative way to work with the Redwork designs.
