Lynda writes of this pretty poinsettia electric candle holder... "I am attaching a photo of a project I did using the Battenburg lace poinsettia design. I stitched out the original design and than the design without the leaves. ( I edited these out with my Embird software, but you could just not stitch out that color.) While drying from removing the WSS, I inverted the design without the leaves and slightly curved them over a votive light holder. I also did not lay the first design, with leaves, exactly flat, but gave it a tweek to curl the leaves and petals slightly. After everything was dry, I put both designs over a battery operated/flameless votive candle. I put the design with the green leaves on the bottom and off centered the non-leave design over that."
