Roses for A Special Birthday
Created By Patsy
Patsy writes of making these lovely towels... A friend of mine wanted to know if I would put her mother-in-law's name on some towels for her 90th birthday. I told her sure. Then I thought that won't be very pretty, just a name, so I decided to put on these Victorian Roses since I hadn't stitched them out before and they are beautiful on these pink towels. These designs will suit this lady to a T as she is as classy as these roses. I did this with my Brother ULT 2003D. Love them. Fast and airy and did not use any stabilizer on the back, only water soluble on top. I put the name in before I stitched out the rose. That way it went right to the name at the last. Didn't have to rehoop." Very smart, Patsy! I'm sure they were a very special gift for Eunice's 90th birthday. Thanks for sharing!
