Sewing Mends the Soul

Created By Robbin

Robbin crafted this lively apron to keep all her sewing tools close at hand. She writes...

"I was frustrated! Every time I needed a small pair of scissors, tweezers, the dreaded seam ripper or other sewing tool, I would have to look around and under my project so I decided that an apron was the answer. 'Lord, bless my work today' was a definite for my apron and at first, it was the only pattern planned on. Then two more patterns SCREAMED to be part of it. Being the person I am, I couldn't deny them ... soooo ... I removed the pocket, cut it into two pieces. One for small, frequently used items, and the other for my large scissors. Now I am loving the convenience of having my tools close at hand with a prayer, testimony and a giggle to sew with! I used my Husqvarna Ruby for this project and loved every minute! Thanks for the inspiration!"

Beautiful work -- thanks for sharing this spirited project!
