Eva from Sweden made this delightful bag, embellished with two favorite sewing-themed designs. And she planned the size of her bag in a most excellent way!

She writes, "Hej to all of you! Here are photos of my new handbag to have over my shoulders. The size is only 20x16 cm and the size between front and back is 5 cm. I took all the things i want to have in the bag and put them on the table. That's how I made the pattern for the size."

Isn't that clever?

She continues, "The belt over the shoulder is coming from an old bag. Some of the colors in the designs are changed because the fabric color is lilac. The back has the spider in a web and that is for the feeling that I'm in a web of my family, and all to do."

Eva adds that she enjoys recycling and upcycling from items and garments that she no longer uses. This is wonderful, Eva! I appreciate the tip about planning the size of the bag by considering what you want to carry in it. Thank you for sending the photos - beautifully done!
