Karen writes... "I thought I'd share my design with you. I love making your door hanger designs. In fact, they are almost the sole reason I upgraded to a Brother Quattro with the 8x12 embroidery area. I was looking for a St. Patrick's Day design, and when I couldn't find one, I decided to use my new Floriani software and create my own. So I took the Chickadee design I had and deleted the birds, added the Swirling Shamrocks Stack design and lettering. It was a challenge as I had to rearrange the stitch order so that all the tack down stitches, etc. stitched in the correct order, but I was very pleased with the results. BTW, I used Ultra Solvy for my base stabilizer and I am VERY pleased with the border edges when I removed the stabilizer. I had used the recommended tear-away and always had bits of stabilizer showing." Well done, Karen! These door hangers are very attractive--I love the colors you used in the Swirling Shamrocks Stack.
