Sieglinde writes... "I took part in a bus trip with 51 other ladies. We went to quilt shops in three states. I made three shopping bags for my two friends and myself. Since we were from Kansas, the Sunflower state, I used your sunflowers and a Simplicity pattern. The bag wasn't very large so I made it shopping bag size, to hold all of our treasures which we would be purchasing. The flowers are stitched on a cover that can be removed, and replaced with another one. Over half of the people on the bus wanted me to make one for them." I'm sure they did, Sieglinde! This is a beautiful bag, and the removeable cover is a terrific idea. Bags are such a fun thing to change with holidays and seasons. Thanks for sending in this popular project!
