Swirling Elegance Jacket

Charlene and her Husqvarna Viking Designer Ruby stitched this sophisticated velveteen jacket using the Swirling Elegance designs, perfectly placed on the back and cuffs. She used Butterick B5720 by Connie Crawford as as the pattern for the jacket, and added black Swarovski crystals, seed beads, and an Italian wool satin asymmetrical softly pleated neckline frill. The jacket is paired with fully lined wool gabardine pants (Butterick by Connie Crawford B5690).
This project was selected as a semifinalist in the Independent Pattern Company Alliance's Midnight Magic contest. Best of all, this was Colleen's first project using her new embroidery machine! So stunning -- thanks for sharing, Charlene!
