I was looking through my fabric stash a couple of days ago and found these designs I had stitched out but hadn't been made into anything specific. I still really don't know what I've created - it's just a mini-quilt. Sometimes I just want to sew, the hard thing is deciding what to sew. This is like a stitcher's 'scrapbook page' all in the name of fun and it's good practise for applique, quilting, binding, etc etc. When you sew something specific you need to spend a lot of time thinking, designing, measuring and accurately placing designs etc which although is necessary but time consuming and not terribly interesting. I like to do random things and see what happens. It gets me sewing and often I like the result.
