She writes, "I embroidered these for my niece who just bought a new cottage, which she has named The Thirsty Mermaid. I used the little fish from one of the larger embroideries for the facecloths. She used different colors for the mermaids to make each towel just a wee bit different from the others. That adds a lot of visual interest. For those that are new to embroidering on terrycloth towels, this tutorial and video will be an excellent guide.
