Karen created a very special wedding quilt for her niece and her new husband. She is from Alberta and he is from Newfoundland, so Karen combined the two elements as a basis for the design. She used several quilting techniques, including piecing, machine embroidery, and hand applique using quilting cottons and batiks. She says the quilt was "very well received and appreciated."
