Pat has been making sweet, colorful flags as special gifts for new homeowners.

She writes, "Here are a few pics of a welcome flag sewn back-to-back. For the cottage house, I did edit out the hearts. Sewed the flags together 1/2-inch from edges and fringed the edges by pulling out the threads. I sprayed Scotchguard on the flag as well. I used heavy duck cloth fabric. I give these flags to family members as housewarming gifts. The couple just moved into their home. I enjoyed making it."
