An airy, elegant wrap is perfect over an evening dress or to dress up your "basic black." The organza's shining glow will add a spark of color to any formal affair.
Nativity Toile embroidery designs from Embroidery Library are sewn in gold on both the front and back, bringing added richness and texture to this light wrap. A beaded trim adds a festive holiday flair.

Designs Used
Begin by marking center points for the embroidery in the center and on each end of the fabric.
We sewed 3 designs on the wrap. For each design, hoop the fabric with one layer of heavy, water-soluble stabilizer. For best results, use the hooping method outlined in Ann Campbell's hooping article.
Sew out the Nativity Stable design in the center of the fabric and the Angel and Star designs on each end. For reversible embroidery, use the same color thread in both the top and bobbin.
Trim away the excess stabilizer from around the designs, and hem all four edges of the fabric.
Soak or launder the fabric to remove the WSS.
Note: Hemming will prevent the edges from unraveling in the wash.
When the fabric is dry, stitch the trim to the short ends of your fabric rectangle.
This wrap is very versatile. Use it to cover your head on a breezy day, as a wrap for your shoulders, or tie it around your waist to make a pretty overskirt.
