What is an in-the-hoop design?

As you browse through Embroidery Library's design collection, you'll find that some are marked with the words "in-the-hoop."

These types of designs refer to things that are not stitched onto garments or fabric, but rather constructed in the hoop.

In-the-hoop designs include things like mug rugs, coasters, bookmarks, bottle aprons, candy cane holders, gift tags, and more. 

The in-the-hoop designs have instructions that show how to stitch the design. You'll find a link to the project instructions on the product detail page.
