Joyce sent in a photo of her fish sketch quilt and it made me want to hit the lake with a lure and some luck.

She used the Catch of the Day Sketches designs. Sketch designs are light and open, and they're excellent on smooth quilter's cotton. We stitched the samples in light and dark grey, but Joyce used green and brown to add interest to the blocks. That quilting on the blocks is gorgeous - it makes me think of ripples on a lake!
